
Mr. Salb is a member of Lippman, Semsker & Salb.
Mr. Salb litigates and provides counsel in employment matters, Wills, Trusts & Estates, and family law. Mr. Salb’s employment law practice includes discrimination, employment agreements, and wage & hour matters, serving both individuals and management. His practice focuses on aggressive prosecution and vigorous defense of large and multi-plaintiff disputes, including class actions. Mr. Salb also regularly provides counsel and advice, such as the drafting of a consulting, employment, and severance agreements.
Mr. Salb has been elected to the Steering Committee of the District of Columba Bar Section on Labor and Employment Law. He will serve from 2005 through 2008. Mr. Salb is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association. He is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Labor and Employment Section of the American Bar Association, and the Employment Law Section of the Montgomery County Bar Association.
Mr. Salb's Wills, Trusts & Estates practice includes the preparation of wills, trust documents, and other estate planning documents such as durable powers of attorney and advance directives for health care treatment. He has a primary interest in large-asset estates but assists a great many middle-income families with their estate planning. He works carefully to ensure that he meets all of his clients' estate-planning objectives. His general approach is to provide our client with a complete package of documents which address end of life issues at a fixed fee when possible. This ensures that our client can be comfortable knowing that his or her wishes are clearly stated and will be protected. Mr. Salb is a member of the Real Property and Trusts & Estates Section of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Salb's family law practice includes extensive trial work in sharply disputed issues, such as divorces, custody, and child support. Mr. Salb also assists clients in uncontested divorces, antenuptial agreements (which are also called prenuptial agreements), resolving visitation issues, and similar issues. Mr. Salb provides "alternative family law" services to gay and lesbian and other unmarried couples, such as Second Parent adoptions and partnership agreements. Mr. Salb is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association as well as the Family Law Section of the Montgomery County Bar Association.

Mr. Salb is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in the Federal and State courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the District of Columbia Circuit, and the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Salb is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association; the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association; the Federal Bar Association; and Judicature.
Education:
Mr. Salb received his J.D. from Emory University in 1994. He was Articles Editor of the Bankruptcy Developments Journal, a student-edited journal for bankruptcy practitioners. Mr. Salb was Martin Luther King Fellow, North Carolina Legal Services in 1993, and he was the recipient of the Dean’s Public Service Award for 1994 at Emory. Mr. Salb received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with a minor in Women’s Studies, from the University of Connecticut, in 1991. While at the University of Connecticut, Mr. Salb was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society.
