Mr. Salb is the Principal Attorney of Lippman, Semsker & Salb.

Mr. Salb litigates and provides counsel in Estate Planning and Probate Law matters. He also directs the Firm's work in its Employment Law, Business Formation & Disputes, and Domestic Relations practice areas. He has practiced with the Firm since May 1995; he previously served as Special Assistant to the Corporate Secretary of Sallie Mae. Mr. Salb has extensive litigation and appellate experience, including successfully arguing numerous cases before the United States Courts of Appeals, District Courts, and state courts. Mr. Salb also coordinates the Firm's pro bono service, including making grants and donations of legal services.

Professional Activities:

Mr. Salb is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association and the Estate Planning & Property and Litigation Sections of the American Bar Association and the Real Property and Trusts & Estates, Litigation, and Labor and Employment Law Sections of the American Bar Association. He was elected to the Washington Estate Planning Council in 2010 and was elected to the Steering Committee of the District of Columbia Bar Section on Labor and Employment Law in 2005. He served as co-chair of the Section from 2008 through 2010. Mr. Salb served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association from 2006 through 2008.

Community Service:

Mr. Salb serves on the Board of Directors of Adventure Theatre, the award-winning children's theater in Glen Echo, Maryland. He also volunteers at Jewish Primary Day School of the Nation's Capital and serves an administrative function at the Ohev Sholom synagogue.

Mr. Salb was Martin Luther King Fellow, North Carolina Legal Services in 1993. University of Connecticut (B.A., Poltical Science with a minor in Women’s Studies, 1991). Member, Pi Sigma Alpha (the national political science honor society).

Bar Admissions

Mr. Salb is admitted to practice in the Federal and State courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the District of Columbia Circuit, and the Fourth Circuit.
