Mary Kuntz is an associate with Lippman, Semsker & Salb, LLC, working in the areas of Employment Law, Academic Law, and Special Education Law.

Before joining Lippman, Semsker & Salb, Dr. Kuntz interned at AARP researching and drafting briefs for U.S. courts of appeal and the Supreme Court, focusing on claims based on the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disability Act, and the Administrative Procedures Act.

Dr. Kuntz previously served as a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Women’s Policy Research in Washington, D.C., where she was co–director of a Ford Foundation-funded research team studying the effectiveness of consent decrees used to resolve Title VII sexual discrimination cases and their long-term effect in changing work-place conditions.

Dr. Kuntz comes to law after a twenty-year career as a tenured professor of Classical Languages at Auburn University, where she also served as the Director of the Women’s Studies Program from 2001 through 2005. Dr. Kuntz's work as a professor makes her uniquely qualified to assist our clients in academic matters, including non-promotion case, denials of tenure, and student removals.
